Hi my name is Jimmy, I’m 11 years old and I live in an informal settlement. The one night I forgot to do my homework do I had to do my homework under a lamppost I wish that we had electricity so I could see at night. I always eat stuff that we can grow ,I wish my parents had jobs so they had a bit more money because if they had more money I wouldn’t have to only eat eggs to get protein.My feet always get cut,cold and sore when I walk to school, another thing that could make my life easier is if I had nice shoes. I wish that we had better materials to build our houses with because it’s so cold at night that sometimes I don’t get any sleep at all. We have no grass on our fields ,I wish that we had soil that can grow grass because every time we play sport our feet hurt so we have to stop playing. My name is Benny and last week Mr Raymond the singing inspector came into the classroom and called upon the people he thought could sing. There were quite a few people who went with him and I was surprised when he called my name, Benny Black. Simonsberg Christian Centre Two weeks ago we were on camp.We went to Giraffe house they put a black chinned lizard on my head . It was scary   because when their chins turn black it means its angry.Its chin turned black several times.  After we left we were talking on the bus .  I had never had such a great chat . When we got there we were so exited  we jumped out of our seats and screamed because it was so exiting . When we got out of the bus we rushed into our dorms we unpacked so fast because we wanted to play but we were so hungry we had to eat first. when we were done eating we wanted to play, but they first had to go over some rules. They said we could make forts in the forest they said we could play in the forest but they had to show how far we could go. They showed us how far we could go and it was about 200 square meters we were so exited. So we started to build and play but when my group was done they said there was not enough space.
